sims 3 ambitions installation error cyclic redundancy check

So Yesterday I decided I haven't played the sims 3 in a while so I wanted to re install my games cause I'm going to get sims 3 sesons soon. Well I got down to my last game to install witch was sims 3 ambitions and I kept getting a error for cyclic redundancy check.

So Today I had enough and used Google, seems that a lot of people were having this same problem. So now I'm running some things trying to fix it, some of my games did not update there patch so now, I'm running a patch installer called MTS TS3 Patch Downloader.

I also Installed Orgin cause my Sims 3 Launcher keeps telling me orgin can not be found.. You can download Orgin HERE.

I do not know if any of this is going to work I'm still trying to update my game.

I also seen some people say it could be cause the disk is scratched or damaged. I do not know if this is my case because its been in the case the whole time since my last installing.
